THE NEST PRAYER MINISTRY

NEST stands for “Necessary Encouragement, Spiritually Transforming,” and that is what exactly what our NEST prayers do for each mission team. Here’s how it works:

1. People sign up to send an email prayer on one day of the mission.
2. On their assigned day, the NEST team member adds their email prayer to the chain, thus building a body of “nested” prayer.
3. Throughout the mission, NEST team members receive a daily email prayer (and mission updates if possible).
4. The mission team leader ALSO receives the daily prayers and shares them with the mission team each day.

The NEST is a powerful and effective way to support and be involved in missions. It has a huge impact on the success of missions (just ask anyone who has been on the receiving end of a NEST) … and it often has a transforming effect on the NEST team members, too!
